Neurotechnologija offers Template Management and Conversion SDK - a product for template standards' support integration to systems based on VeriFinger SDK or FingerCell EDK.



Template Management and Conversion SDK

Template Managemet and Conversion SDK allows to integrate the support for fingerprint template standards to existing biometric system based on VeriFinger SDK or FingerCell EDK. Thus, the system will be able to perform template conversion from and to ANSI/INCITS 378-2004 (Finger Minutiae Format for Data Interchange) and ANSI/NIST-ITL 1-2000 (Data Format for the Interchange of Fingerprint, Facial, & Scar Mark & Tattoo (SMT) Information), as well as conversion between VeriFinger, FingerCell and MegaMatcher fingerprint template formats.

Template Management and Conversion SDK supports platforms based on x86 processor architecture. Modules for Windows and Linux operating systems are included into the SDK.

 

The SDK structure

The Template Management and Conversion SDK includes these components:

  • Template Management Components. These components are intended to manipulate MegaMatcher templates extracted from images or converted from templates of supported standards. Conversion between VeriFinger, FingerCell and MegaMatcher templates is also supported.

  • Template Conversion Components. These components are intended for biometric data interchange between MegaMatcher templates or VeriFinger/FingerCell templates and standard templates. The supported standards are:
    • ANSI/INCITS 378-2004 (Finger Minutiae Format for Data Interchange)
    • ANSI/NIST-ITL 1-2000 (Data Format for the Interchange of Fingerprint, Facial, & Scar Mark & Tattoo (SMT) Information
    These components can be used from C/C++ and C# applications.

    • MS Windows 9x/ME/NT/2000/XP/2003 OS
    • .NET framework 1.1 (for .NET components only)
    • Microsoft Visual Studio .Net 2003
  • System requirements for installation and usage of components for Linux OS:
    • PC with x86 compatible CPU
    • Linux OS 2.4 or newer
    • GCC-3.3.x or newer
    • GNU Make 3.80 or newer
